Abstract

In an uncertain and unstable environment, companies today seek to maintain a level of stability, and to have a clear vision on their future. This stability obliges them to take into account their environment which is characterized by a dynamic and competitiveness. So companies, whatever their size and thier position, focus on the choice of strategies to create competitive advantages, adaptability with their environment, and the acquisition of new knowledge.

The analysis of the economic behavior of actors,, is a fundamental avenue for identifying strategies. The objective of this thesis is part of the research that supports the existence of a direct relationship between the economic behavior of actors and business strategy. In a more focused way, we seek to identify the determinants of each of the two variables, namely the economic behavior of the actors, and that of the strategy.

To answer our problem and to formulate the research hypotheses, we have defined our field of research by two main theory, namely the agency theory and the theory of transaction costs, as a founding framework of economic behavior.
